Gregory Hills Public School represents a major advancement in education-sector lighting control, becoming the first school in NSW delivered under the new EFSG standards using zencontrol with full remote cloud access. Completed in 2024, the project demonstrates how modern DALI infrastructure can support both performance and compliance for next-generation learning environments.
Lumen Resources supplied the complete zencontrol solution and supported the delivery team in implementing a flexible, scalable lighting control system capable of meeting the high standards set by the Department of Education. The technology spans the entire campus, integrating automated sensor-based control, smart switching, and comprehensive device monitoring to ensure long-term efficiency and maintainability.
The system’s extensive DALI network enables responsive lighting across classrooms, administration areas, shared spaces, and outdoor zones. Smart switch displays and real-time device oversight help streamline facility management, while the cloud-connected architecture allows ongoing remote support and diagnostics.
This project sets a strong benchmark for future NSW education builds, showcasing what a fully digital lighting environment can achieve when paired with EFSG compliance and zencontrol’s next-generation capabilities.
