Roseville College Sport & Wellbeing Centre

Roseville College’s new three-storey Sport & Wellbeing Centre replaces older facilities with a modern multi-use hub for the school community. The building includes an eight-lane 25-metre indoor swimming pool, eight new classrooms (including a flexible dance and function space), a strength and conditioning gym, a nutrition and food technology space, fully-accessorised amenities, three outdoor multipurpose courts and a two-storey underground carpark. Our partners at DALI Solutions installed a complete zencontrol DALI-2 lighting control system throughout the entire building.

Every room is fitted with sensors and switches for automated, energy-efficient control. The pool and change rooms feature RGB colour-changing DALI lighting, enabling the school to create themed lighting environments for events and programs, a standout capability for a facility of this type. The carpark uses motion-controlled lighting throughout, activating only when needed. External lighting is connected to the same unified DALI-2 system, providing consistent, centralised control across both indoor and outdoor areas.

DALI-2 was selected to comply with NSW Education Facility Standards and Guidelines, which mandate a fully DALI-2-based lighting control system. zencontrol was chosen for its proven reliability, full compliance, seamless colour-control integration and remote management via the zencontrol cloud. The result is a flexible, modern and efficient lighting environment suited to the diverse needs of teaching, sport and wellbeing.
